More than just a classroom

From my very first day of opening the door for Gulu Gulu in 2010, I’ve sought to create the best classrooms I possibly could with the Christian faith-based learning program. I have been contributing the school profits back into the school every year, upgrading our teaching materials, furniture, and tools. I learned and implemented NAEYC’s developmentally appropriate practices and hired teachers who are passionate about inspiring and educating young minds. We instilled a love of learning in all of our students and challenged them to develop their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, moral life, and academic skills.

On top of that, we gave our Gulu Gulu families more than just a classroom. We created an experience, built a community, and became a family!

With this commitment, we started as a little home preschool, and we’ve kept that same warm, home-like environment as we’ve grown. We are now serving children from ages 2-12 for preschool, K12 co-op, and afterschool programs! We can’t wait for you to join our Gulu Gulu Families soon!

SCHOOL PROGRAMS

HOME-BASED PRE-K PROGRAM

1 to 4 Years Old

Children grow and learn everyday. Gulu Gulu provides a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where kids can explore and make daily discoveries. Our professional staff offers you a daily report on how we meet your child's individual needs for nutrition, rest and changing situations. Our goals is to build a foundation for your children to develop trusting relationships.

8:30am-9:00am Greeting + Breakfast session

9:00am-9:30am Table time for Manipulative / Sensory Session

9:30am-10:00am Art and Craft

10:00am - 10:55am English Circle Time (Language Art + Math + Social Science + Science + Music + Drawing)

11:00am - 11:55am Outdoor Play activities

12:00pm - 12:55pm Lunch Time

1:00pm - AM Preschool Dismissal

2:00pm - 3:30pm Nap Time / Quiet Reading Time

3:30pm - 4:00pm Snack Time

4:00pm - 4:55pm Phonic or Math

5:00-5:30pm Foreign language: Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin

5:30pm - 5:45pm Free Play Time

5:45pm - 6:00pm Clean-up and class dismissal

We offer online, on-site, and hybrid camps for children during the summer to help promote continued learning in a fun and engaging way that transitions into the next school year.
